Most Amateur Golfers Struggle With Controlling Taylormade Rocketballz Driver

Do you remember the old saying, You can’t judge a book by its cover? I was excited to see what TaylorMade was planning to do next because it is a trendsetter and trendsetters know how to turn heads.

My first experience of the RocketBallz driver was at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show earlier this year. I held on strong for the majority of the winter, but as spring rolled around, it became harder and harder to avoid the mass appeal of RocketBallz. Even though my personal disdain for the name was strong, I decided I would at least try it at Demo Day so the people who were tuning in for our live blog would be able to virtually experience the latest and the greatest from TaylorMade. But, by early April, around the time of the Masters, I could not resist the temptation anymore. I didn’t get a chance to hit it because the line was too long, but I did get to hold one in my hand and I remember thinking “I don’t hate the way it looks”. I noticed that well over 100 oobgolf users had added the taylormade rocketballz driver to their bag so I decided to end my personal boycott and give it a try. I quickly reminded myself of my personal boycott and put the RocketBallz driver down and proceeded to the next tent.

If you’ve read any of my previous hybrid reviews, you’ll know that I think that hybrids are a bit strange on the looks. There are much harder lines on the bottom of the Rescue ’09, but just as appealing to the eye. I’ve never been fond of the look of my Rescue Dual TP. The good news is that the ’09 Rescue has shown a vast improvement. Feel does not disappoint either. First, when resting the club behind the ball the club does not turn at all. From the top the taylormade rescue 2009 has a solid black look with a straight line that runs parallel to the face, curving away towards the back of the club at the ends. Some Rescues or hybrids have a tendency to open a bit, making the alignment a bit open. The result is a clean and simple look. The Rescue ’09 does not suffer from this. Throwing your alignment off even by a couple degrees on a club like this can result in some wild shots. Since Rescues are truly between woods and irons they can take the attributes of both. If you had to pick irons to buy to improve your game the most, these would be the irons. An overall increase of 15 yards per club was discovered by most people sampling this new TaylorMade iron design. The new design and technology constructed into the taylormade rbz irons will definitely provide you more distance. The feel is comfortable and upon impact you get enough feedback to make adjustments to your swing. TaylorMade has finally made improvements over the R-series irons every TaylorMade lover will enjoy. So much distance, that you will have to practice with each of the irons to re-figure the distance you get with each club. Look at the TaylorMade RocketBallz irons view review below or check out what the PGA professionals have to say abut these irons at the TaylorMade YouTube channel. The sweet spot is larger for the RocketBallz irons and a little smaller for the RocketBallz Max irons, but average golfers will not find it to be a problem.

In addition, the head cover is very similar to the ones TaylorMade has provided in years past for their Rescue clubs. I’ve never had to worry about losing this cover. Along with the functionality, the styling and look is good as well.
